Nikon D500 Firmware Update to Address SnapBridge Issue Coming by the End of March
After the latest SnapBridge update Nikon had released firmware updates for Nikon D3400 and Nikon D5600 cameras, but Nikon D500 users were somehow left in the lurch. But thanks to a customer care email from the camera maker, it has now been confirmed that a new Nikon D500 firmware update to address the issue of SnapBridge will be released by the end of this month.
If you see the image of the email below, it clearly says that
Yes, a new firmware update for the D500 is in the works and should be released by the end of March to address the connection issues users were having with iOS versions 10 and above. We have the new, updated version of Snapbridge to address the issue as well.

Nikon D500 users have been experiencing connection issues regarding the SnapBridge and iOS 10.2.1 since the former was updated. The upcoming Nikon D500 firmware update will seek to resolve that issue.
